Kris Bindeman joined Kaplan Law Firm as a summer associate in 2017. Kris is pursuing his law degree at the University of Texas School of Law, where he is an articles editor on the Texas Journal of Civil Liberties and Civil Rights. He is also a member of the Board of Advocates and participates in both the Interscholastic Mock Trial Team and local advocacy tournaments. Kris has just completed his second year of law school, and in his first summer served as a summer clerk for The Honorable Tony M. Davis, Western District of Texas Bankruptcy Court, and The Honorable Jason B. Libby, Southern District of Texas.
Prior to attending law school, Kris attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he triple majored in Plan II Honors, Business Honors, and Marketing. While studying, he completed an academic year working for Texas State Senator Jose Rodriguez as a legislative aide, and spent a summer as a management intern with Macy’s. These experiences entrenched Kris’s dedication to individualized, meaningful client service, with a focus on identifying and delivering unique solutions.
Kris has focused his law school curriculum and activities around civil litigation and helping clients assert their legal rights inside and outside the courtroom. He is excited to bring this experience to the Kaplan Law Firm this summer, and fight vigorously for the rights of our clients.
